I started Leather Trimmings Limited in 1987, focusing on collecting scrap leather from furniture manufacturers. The leather I worked with was the leftover material after furniture patterns were cut, and it was perfect for creating small leather goods like handbags and wallets. My business quickly grew to become one of the largest suppliers of scrap leather in the USA. As demand increased, several furniture manufacturers asked if I would be interested in purchasing their close-out leather hides. This led me to form a separate company, Discount Leather Hides, through which I sold thousands of hides on platforms like eBay and Etsy.

In the process, I developed a relationship with a European tannery that produces some of the finest upholstery leather in the world. Today, I’m proud to launch Timber Creek Fine Leathers, a company built on years of experience and expertise.
